Over the century, Global warming has turned into a major challenge. Economic growth of cities basically attracts large populations, which increases, in turn, the demand for housing, energy, water and food, and results in different adverse consequences. Khorramabad, has recently undergone significant climate anomalies due to an increase in industrial plants and air pollution. The growing trend of Physical development in the southern parts of the city, is a testament to these anomalies. According to the meteorological statistics of the city, the average temperature, over the last 30 years, has risen by 0.5 degrees Celsius. According to the scenarios, if this condition continues, the temperature will rise up to 4 degrees Celsius. In this Article which aims at assessing the relationship between climate change and the formation of urban areas, urban areas data and climatic data were simulated at a district scale using ENVI-MET model; besides, three periods of development evolution for ten years (2007, 2012, 2017) are analyzed through different indices including Temperature, wind speed and soil moisture, which are the most important factors affecting climate change. Based on the results, semi-open spaces and medium density and semi-texture are the best type of urban structure in order to deal with climate changes. This type of structure is based on the principles of design principles.
