Abstract
Throughout history, the loss of people and urban communities due to natural and human disasters has caused the concept of resilience to be investigated in the field of urban studies. Therefore, pandemics have created great importance for finding more resilience strategies for cities, as pandemics have affected communities due to their widespread and unpredictable behavior. In this regard, it is very important to use a model to increase urban resilience to deal with such risks and epidemics. The purpose of this research is to prioritize the factors affecting urban resilience against epidemics. In this research, an attempt is made to obtain the main components of the resilient city form by extracting the effective components on the city form for resilience against epidemic diseases, using the triangular fuzzy Delphi method. The findings of the research showed that based on the evaluation of the 12 selected criteria, four criteria (materials, land use, urban block layout and the flow of goods and communications) in the first stage survey of experts and four criteria (urban block layout, land use, materials and transportation) in the second stage of the survey of experts, they have obtained a high score, which shows the importance of these indicators in the evaluation of urban resilience against epidemics. Finally, from the sum of these results, it can be said that three major indicators (materials, land use and urban block arrangement) provide the most important indicators in terms of urban form to improve the resilience of cities.
