Journal Article 2024 10 06 The existence of a gap between the urban planning education system and the professional system is a challenge that all stakeholders in the urban planning system acknowledge, and a fundamental change from the approaches of first-generation universities to fourth-generation universities in the macro-level domain has been defined on this basis with the aim of reducing this gap and increasing the impact of the education field in the living environment. The first and most important strategy for realizing the fourth-generation university is to pay attention to the university's social responsibility approach in the macro- and micro-level domains. The purpose of the present study is to explain the position of this approach in the field of urban planning with the aim of reducing the gap between the education system and the professional system. Accordingly, the research structure is qualitative, and the content analysis method and semi-structured interview method have been used in the form of in-depth interviews with 25 qualified individuals, for application at Yazd University (as a case study). The results of the study indicate that the realization of the university's social responsibility approach in the four dimensions of education, research, values, and services can reduce the gap between the urban planning education system and the professional system through the proposed research model. Also, according to the research results, the five themes of reviewing the structure and syllabus of the field, reviewing the syllabus of the workshops, reforming the structure and logic of the field's goals, practicing social ethical responsibility, and reviewing the support mechanism are the five main and basic themes guiding the practice of social responsibility with the aim of reducing the gap between opinion and practice in the field of urban planning. وجود شکاف بین نظام آموزش شهرسازی و نظام حرفه، چالشی است که کلیه ذی‌نفعان نظام شهرسازی بدان اذعان دارند و تغییر بنیادی از رویکردهای دانشگاه‌های نسل یک به نسل چهار نیز در حوزه کلان بر همین مبنا و باهدف کاهش این شکاف و افزایش تأثیرگذاری حوزه آموزش در محیط زندگی تعریف شده است. نخستین و اصلی‌ترین راهبرد تحقق دانشگاه نسل چهار، توجه به رویکرد مسئولیت اجتماعی دانشگاه در حوزه کلان و خرد است. هدف از پژوهش پیش رو، تبیین جایگاه این رویکرد در رشته برنامه‌ریزی شهری باهدف کاهش شکاف نظام آموزش و حرفه است. براین‌اساس، ساختار پژوهش، کیفی و از روش تحلیل مضمون و شیوه مصاحبه نیمه‌ساختاریافته در قالب مصاحبه عمیق با 25 نفر از افراد واجد شرایط، جهت کاربست در دانشگاه یزد (به‌عنوان نمونه موردی) استفاده شده است. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از انست که تحقق رویکرد مسئولیت اجتماعی دانشگاه در چهار بعد آموزش، پژوهش، ارزش‌ها و خدمات می‌تواند از طریق مدل پیشنهادی پژوهش، باعث کاهش شکاف نظام آموزش شهرسازی و حرفه باشد. همچنین مطابق با نتایج پژوهش، پنج مضمون بازنگری ساختار و سرفصل رشته، بازنگری سرفصل کارگاه‌ها، اصلاح ساختار و منطق اهداف رشته، عمل به مسئولیت اخلاقی اجتماعی و بازنگری در سازوکار پشتیبانی پنج مضمون اصلی و پایه راهنمای عمل به مسئولیت اجتماعی باهدف کاهش شکاف نظر و عمل در رشته برنامه‌ریزی شهری هستند. https://usdjournal.daneshpajoohan.ac.ir/article_734343_2cd7f967aa945e065f3f6315fd4964f8.pdf
